When it comes to issues as persistent and complicated as
underrepresentation and systemic racism, conventional approaches to
problem solving are not enough—we need fresh, useful ideas. In
other words, we need innovation. For this episode we invite Harvard
Business School professor and expert on leadership and innovation,
Linda Hill to discuss strategies for uplifting minority voices and
Bonita Stewart, Google executive and co-author of the upcoming
book, A Blessing: Women of Color Teaming Up to Lead, Empower and
Thrive (https://leadempowerthrive.com/). This conversation will
explore how innovation and collaboration can cultivate diverse
leadership, drive racial equity and empower the powerless.
The Search for Racial Equity Series is a global forum offering an
in depth study and dialog of racial equity and justice, through
forthright discussion and a syllabus that intends to amplify the
most authentic and powerful voices of our time and of this
movement. We aim to create safe spaces for the most important and
authentic discussions.
