David J. Peterson is a linguist, Hollywood consultant, and professional fictional language creator, or "conlanger". He has worked on shows such as Game of Thrones, The 100, Defiance, and The Witcher where he has developed many languages, including Dothraki, High Valyrian, Irathient, and Elder Speech.
